Phillip and Kelvin Laverne "Classical" Coffee Table AS IS (0B5002)

Signed "Classical" coffee table by Philip and Kelvin Laverne. The table is made from bronze and features acid-etched scenes as well the name "Philip K. Laverne". The table top displays Roman gods and goddesses with themes of dance, poetry, music, and drama. The base is comprised of bronze legs and stretchers. The bronze has developed a lovely patina over time.

Philip and Kelvin Lavern are an American father-son artist duo who created functional and fine art. The two opened a studio in NY after studying art history, metal sculpting, and furniture design. They are known for their stunning pieces (typically tables) that combine ancient motifs and modernist designs made from bronze, pewter, and silver.
