Porcelain "Apollo Landing" figurine by Lladro, numbered 6168. Produced to honor the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Mission. The figure depicts Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, standing proudly with the American flag, his helmet at his side. "One Giant Leap for Mankind, 25th Anniversary", is written on the base of the figurine alongside the Lladro branding mark. Incredible details are present on Aldrin's uniform and the rippling American flag that cascades down his back. A beautiful encapsulation of a special moment in US history! Does not include the original box.
